If you're reading this article, then you are probably already using one or more indicators MetaTrader to increase trade with the MetaTrader 4 or 5 terminals. The indicators have been used by Forex traders technique for years to generate buy or sell signals according to the specific conditions and situations emerging markets. The top ten most popular MetaTrader indicators for the forex market are:
1. Relative Strength Index or RSI – this indicator self-explanatory. Measures the strength of a currency pair, comparing current prices with past prices. The indicator flags when the currency pair is overbought, passing over 70, and when it is oversold, going below 30.
2. Moving Average Convergence Divergence, or MACD indicator – this indicator is used by operators to confirm market trends. MACD is different from a normal moving average as it incorporates the convergence / divergence in appearance and generate buy signals and sell when there is a junction. The indicator is also effective in signaling major trend reversals.
3. Stochastic Oscillator – This is a momentum indicator that compares the currency with the historical rate of prices. It indicates an overbought condition when it exceeds 80 and an oversold condition when it falls below 20.
4. Bollinger Bands – This indicator makes use of simple or exponential moving averages to determine the relative price levels and volatility that are used to generate signals negotiation.

10. Percentage range or Williams% R – an indicator of time to determine overbought or oversold conditions in a third market trends. It reads like a Stochastic Oscillator, except that is drawn backwards. Readings 0 to -20 indicate an overbought condition while -80 to -100 indicate an oversold condition.
